2. Platform Data We Collect
Depending on how you interact with Flownware services, we process specific categories of Platform Data required to deliver our core CRM, messaging, and marketing solutions:
A. Facebook Page & Login Data
When a client connects their business account via Facebook Login, we access Page details (Page ID, Page name, category, access tokens) strictly required to connect lead ad webhooks and manage authorized page automated responses.
B. Lead Data (via Facebook Lead Ads)
When prospects submit forms on client Facebook or Instagram Lead Ads, we process lead details (such as full name, phone number, email address, and form field answers) retrieved through Meta’s Marketing API on behalf of our business clients.
C. WhatsApp Business Account Data
Through the WhatsApp Business API, we process client WhatsApp phone numbers, approved message templates, business profile details, and delivery/read metadata necessary for operating automated chat messaging workflows.
D. Website Contact Forms
Information submitted directly on flownware.com via audit forms or contact forms (name, business name, phone number, email address, and service inquiries).
3. How We Use Platform Data
We process Platform Data strictly for permitted purposes set forth in Meta's Developer Docs and agreed service scopes:
- Flownware CRM Dashboard: Displaying incoming client leads in real time inside their customized Flownware dashboard for tracking and follow-up.
- WhatsApp Messaging & Automation: Triggering automated instant WhatsApp welcome messages, appointment confirmations, follow-up reminders, and campaign notifications to leads on behalf of our clients.
- Service Infrastructure & Security: Analyzing aggregated, anonymized usage telemetry to optimize platform performance and prevent unauthorized access.
4. Meta Prohibited Practices Compliance (Section 3.a)
In accordance with Section 3.a of the Meta Platform Terms, Flownware strictly enforces the following prohibitions:
- No Discrimination: We do NOT process Platform Data to discriminate or encourage discrimination based on race, ethnicity, color, religion, age, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, disability, or medical condition.
- No Eligibility Determinations: We do NOT process Platform Data to make eligibility determinations regarding housing, employment, credit, insurance, government benefits, or immigration status.
- No Surveillance: We do NOT process Platform Data to perform or provide tools for surveillance for law enforcement or national security purposes.
- No Data Sales: We do NOT sell, license, rent, trade, or purchase Platform Data.
- No Unauthorized Profiling: We do NOT process Platform Data to build or augment user profiles without explicit, valid consent.
- No Reverse Engineering: We do NOT attempt to decode, circumvent, re-identify, de-anonymize, unscramble, or reverse-engineer Platform Data.
5. Data Storage, Security & Vulnerability Reporting
We maintain administrative, technical, and physical safeguards meeting or exceeding industry standards (Section 6.a):
- All API transfers use SSL/TLS (HTTPS) encryption.
- Lead records and API access tokens are stored in secure databases encrypted at rest (AES-256).
- Access tokens, app secrets, and user IDs are protected against unauthorized access and never transferred except to authorized Service Providers under written agreements.
- Security vulnerability reports can be submitted to contact@flownware.com for prompt remediation.
- In the event of a security incident compromising Platform Data, Flownware will notify Meta and impacted parties as required under Meta terms and applicable laws.
6. Data Sharing & Service Providers
We share Platform Data only with essential infrastructure providers (such as Meta APIs / Meta Business Platform for Facebook Lead Ads and WhatsApp Cloud API). Any Service Provider engaged is contractually required to process Platform Data strictly at our direction and in full compliance with Meta Platform Terms (Section 5).
7. User Rights & Data Deletion Policy (Section 3.d)
All Users accessing our app or services have the right to request deletion or modification of their Platform Data:
- Prompt Deletion: We delete Platform Data promptly upon receiving a request from the User or Meta, or when retaining data is no longer necessary for a legitimate business purpose.
- Account Closure: When a client terminates their account, all associated Platform Data is purged within 30 days.

8. Meta Platform Terms Agreement
Any and all data received through Meta, Facebook, or WhatsApp permissions (including Facebook Login, Meta Marketing API, Lead Ads API, and WhatsApp Business API) will be processed, handled, and stored strictly in accordance with Meta's Platform Terms, Developer Policies, Business Tools Terms, and allowed usage guidelines.
